German 3 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 3 ár síðan 3

Hello,

I am switching from mendeley to zotero.

when trying to get the javascript embedding, there is no option in zotero to select only My publications, as possible in mendeley. Is there any workaround ?

How to list the publications of multiple authors profiles

Alex 4 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 4 ár síðan 1

Hello Dears,

A few months ago I have been used BIBBASE for my research. Now I want to extend this one to show the research of many profiles (my colleagues), like this one (https://www.utwente.nl/en/bms/iebis/publications/). Is possible to do this with BIBBASE? I hear your recommendations.

Kind regards.

Bibbase iframe top navigation problem

Michael 4 ár síðan Uppfært 4 ár síðan 6

Thanks so much for Bibbase. I am experiencing a problem with the iframe embedding (which I know you don't recommend!). In order to embed the iframe gracefully in my page, I need to sandbox it and deny the iframe top-navigation. This is because the 'groupby' script and perhaps others in the controls try to navigate the top window when they are clicked, which leads to a less-than-optimal user experience.

The problem is that when I turn off top-navigation, it interferes with all the links in the Bibbase output – e.g. you can't simply click 'link' to see the Bibbase page for each item in the Bibliography.

Cannot see zotero collections

Valerio Iacobini 4 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 4 ár síðan 1

Hi all...

I connected zotero to my free bibbase account.

I can see all the groups inside my zotero account but any collection is displayed.

What I need to do is recreate a list of pages, one per zotero collection.

Any ideas?

This is the zotero resources in bibbase:

This is just a sample about how is my archive organized in collections.

Thanks and regards.

Filtering Authors in GroupBy-View

Ruben Becker 4 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 4 ár síðan 1

Hello,

first of all thanks for the great work on BibBase.

I was wondering if there was a way to show only a filtered set of authors, after one clicks on 'groupby' -> 'author'. The reason being that I am administering a group website and it would be nice to see a group only for authors that are members of the group rather than also for all collaborators of group members.

Thank you in advance for any reply on this.

Ruben

Add support for latex commands like emph in abstract

Csaba Szepesvari 4 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 4 ár síðan 3

It would be great to have support for latex commands like emph (or it for italics) in the abstract. I naively assumed this will work, but it did not. E.g., on my page, https://sites.ualberta.ca/~szepesva/pubs.html, check out the first entry.

Error: File type must be text/x-bibtex

Jérémy Pasquereau 4 ár síðan updated by Christian Fritz 4 ár síðan 6

Hello,

When I (try to) upload my .bib file, I get the following error message: Error: File type must be text/x-bibtex. The .bib file I use is one generated by JabRef to contain my publications only. How do I fix this error?

Label the "paper" link something more general / accurate

Adam Rego Johnson 4 ár síðan Uppfært 4 ár síðan 11

The URL field is always displayed as a hyperlink labelled "paper", which comes across as confusing, to me, when viewing a reference for say, a book or book chapter, or anything else (e.g., something that would go in the "misc" item type, such as legal documents or tax forms, of which I have many in one of my libraries).

This also often confuses others browsing my library because there is also "link" when browsing the library page itself, which is a link to a separate BibBase page for that reference, and it's not clear that "paper" is the url field while "link" is not.

Is there a better, more general, term to label this hyperlink? There are three options I see:

1) "URL"

2) "link" -- I think this is the most intuitive label, but this would require changing the current "link" to something else to differentiate it. Perhaps you could change the current "link" to be labelled as "reference link", or "link to reference", or "BibBase link", or "citation link"? I'm not sure. I think "BibBase link" (or "bibbase link" to go with the rest of the lowercasing) is the clearest, but these are all the examples I could think of that may be clear.

3) "URL" but also change the current "link" label as described in (2) to make the difference between "link" and "URL" more intuitive, as these still would sound similar.

Thank you for all your work on BibBase!
