Thank you for the quick reply! This is indeed the link provided by BibBase by following the steps to connect to Zotero. The key is the same one as the one I see when opening the group in Zotero. The group is public as well. The only thing I can think of is that I am not the owner(/manager?) of the group, but then for other Zotero groups I am not the owner of it does work. Is there any other setting or similar that I might have missed?
